Job Details
Assists the Asst. General Manager in responsibility for the store. Help motivate employees to achieve sales goals. Assist the following indirect reports with projects as needed - Managing Director, Bar Manager, Marketing & Ops Manager, Director of Private Events, Events Coordinator, Technical Director, Culinary Manager, and any other dept. manager as specified by the Managing Director.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates desired behaviors for staff including driving sales, handling difficult and or complicated sales, cash
management, inventory and follow-up with customers
Provide strong leadership presence and control in store, while ensuring that all customers receive good service
Helps store manager and assistant store manager identify training needs and provide ongoing training to employees
Ensure company standards are met for store and employees appearance at all times
Enforces all company policies and procedures
Receives deliveries and stocks sales floor in a timely manner
Prioritizes, plans and communicates job assignments and other information to employees prior to start of shift
Performs additional duties as assigned by any direct or indirect report
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Strong leadership skills and business orientation
Customer management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized and ability to multitask
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Regularly required to sit and work on a computer.
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk or listen to others.
Required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
May lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception and ability to adjust focus.
