Our client specializes in crafting, engineering, and producing integrated controls for industrial kitchen appliance manufacturers and operators, guaranteeing the excellence and safety of their products while optimizing workforce productivity and customer contentment. They are looking for a Procurement Manager who will oversee our client s purchasing activities and ensure that all procurement processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational goals. This is an onsite position based in Milford, CT.
Procurement Manager s Responsibilities and Duties
- and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes and drive cost savings.
- and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and agreements, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, purchase order creation, supplier selection, and delivery coordination.
- and analyze procurement costs, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and implement strategies to achieve savings without compromising quality or service.
Procurement Manager s Qualifications and Skills
- degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
