Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Data Architect:
The Data Architect will join the Data Analytics division and will lead the Data warehouse team in designing & implementing data architecture solutions on the Microsoft Fabric platform! Candidates should have experience in Microsoft Fabric stack of technologies, including Azure Synapse Data Engineering and Azure Data Factory, along with hands-on experience in ETL/ELT and cloud migration. This role brings deep technical expertise, proven leadership experience, and excellent teamwork abilities.
Required Skills for the Data Architect:
- At least 1+ year of experience as a Data Architect
- 5+ years' experience within data engineering/data architecture - Designing & implementing cloud-based solutions using Azure Data Factory, MS Fabric, or Azure Synapse Data Engineering
- 5+ years' experience within SQL Server
- Expertise in SQL scripting & ETL design patterns for data warehousing
- Must have experience managing at least 1 team member
