Overview:

Ideally looking for an experienced HR Professional who is also bilingual (Spanish/English) to be the HR Business Partner for roughly 300 Employees that work within our operations teams within the West Region of the U.S.


Location: Phoenix, AZ Branch Location - Hybrid 3-day in the office per week



Travel: 15-20% overnight travel on an annual basis



Responsibilities

  • Perform quarterly visits to our branch locations to meet with Manager and run HR meetings.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for HR support to 10-12 facilities, partnering with Operational Manager and assisting them with HR related issues.
  • Be an advocate for the company, supporting field operations, building organizational trust and promoting a positive workplace environment.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management coaching, counseling, career development, and/or disciplinary actions
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide guidance to team members regarding employment issues in such areas as policy and procedure interpretation/application, coaching and corrective action, leaves of absence, development plans and terminations.
  • Process and spot-check HR Actions- Base comp changes, title changes, promotions, terminations, etc. within the system.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Review, interpret, administer, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and company policies and procedures partnering with Employee Relations and legal on any agency charge responses.
  • Facilitate HR strategic initiatives by assisting in developing programs and services to increase employee engagement, retention, and job satisfaction.
  • Support the performance management process and provide guidance to leaders on their employee reviews and evaluations. Provide training and consultation.
  • Develop relationships across the organization to strengthen HR involvement.



Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources is highly preferred
  • Bilingual English and Spanish (must have)
  • Bachelor s Degree in a related field of study
  • Ability to travel overnight for roughly 15-20% per year.
  • Experience with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Ability to audit and analyze HR-related reports and datasets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - Bilingual candidates preferred.

  • HRIS and Payroll knowledge is a plus.
