Davis Diesel is a fast paced marine diesel repair company with 2 locations in Eastern North Carolina, Wilmington and Beaufort. Most of our work Is performed on Vessels throughout the area with occasional travel.
Role Description
This is a full-time positon for a Marine Diesel Mechanic. As a Marine Diesel Mechanic at Davis Diesel, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing marine diesel engines, conducting inspections, diagnosing issues, and performing necessary repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Marine Diesel Mechanic or a similar role
- Thorough knowledge of diesel engines and systems
- Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures
- Certifications or training in diesel mechanics is preferred
