HOW YOU LL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Obtain detailed open order status from suppliers, update purchase order delivery dates, and expedite requests as required.
  • Purchasing functions of requisition processing; supplier search; composition and issue of request for quote; bid analysis and award orders to suppliers.
  • Gather supplier s qualification documentation for approval.
  • Negotiate terms with vendors such as price, quantity, ship expectations and deadlines.
  • Support the development of templates and other tools that support purchasing and supply chain actions.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of systems that result in operational efficiency and reduced risks in the procurement department.
  • Ensure the identification of domestic and international and potential domestic and international suppliers in cooperation with global commodities.
  • Ensure RFI/RFP/RFQ processes are correct and complete with procurements, internal processes and procedures.
  • Onboarding new suppliers, maintaining current suppliers and all supplier files and contact information.
  • Managing supplier relations expedites emergency orders.
  • Ensure a single point of contact for suppliers.
  • Prepare cost comparison sheets when selecting new vendors, to ensure that the company is getting the best pricing possible.
  • Provide input into the risk management plan that addresses key risks in supply, supplier management and procurement processes.
  • Implementation of an internal control system which ensures that purchase orders are clearly prepared and dispatched.
  • Timely corrective actions on POs with pricing or product errors and other problems.


WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor s Degree preferred.
  • 3 years of domestic and international procurement and logistic experience.
  • Industrial experience a plus
  • Excellent in achieving assigned goals.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic understanding of procurement practices including negotiation, sourcing, bidding, and contracting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office with advanced knowledge of spreadsheets.
  • Positive, confident, and motivated attitude with the desire to work in a fast-paced, energetic team environment.
  • May assist in training new employees.
  • Fully complies with the company s safety instructions and procedures, including timely reporting of any accidents, injuries or incidents involving physical injury or illness.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean workspace.
