Job title Remote Access Representative
Reports to Operations Manager

Job purpose
Work is performed with supervisor guidance and / or established practices to complete duties and responsibilities. Primarily responsible for obtaining needed clinical documents from hospital systems.
Duties and responsibilities
Navigate hospital systems to locate and retrieve necessary documentation to include but not limited to Operative Reports, Anesthesia Records, Pre and Post Op Anesthesia Assessments and Regional Pain Block Notes. Maintain log in credentials for each hospital system.
Identify, track and resolve trends in collaboration with Operational Departments and Client Manager. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss pertinent issues, changes, and/or enhancements to the billing function. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
1 2 years experience in a medical or professional data entry or clerical role
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Strong organization skills
Detail oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office; MS Word, MS Excel
Physical Requirements
Physical ability to sit, talk, hear for extended periods throughout the work day; stand, walk, push/pull, bend, stoop, kneel and reach on a regular to seldom basis. Repetitive hand motions on a frequent basis including fingering, grasping and handling. Ability to read handwritten and typed documents on paper and/or on computer screens.
