JOB SUMMARY
Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Service Technician to perform various forms of ski lift, gondola and tram maintenance. This role will work directly with customers through hands-on mechanical work and a high regard to safety and reliability of equipment. This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $22.00-$26.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES- Work directly with customers to complete timely repairs and maintenance.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures regarding maintenance, repair, safety and compliance.
- Perform mechanical repairs to ski lift equipment using hand and power tools.
- Troubleshoot faulty machinery & diagnose the root cause of the malfunction using diagnostic tools and problem-solving abilities.
- Document maintenance and repairs in LPOA's task management system.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of heavy mechanical repair experience.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and prints.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time with a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at heights in excess of 20 feet.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Authorized to work in the United States of America.
- Proficient in the English language.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Previous experience in ski lift maintenance & repair.
- At least 1 year of previous NDT experience (MT/PT).
