Asset Strategy & Capital Delivery Multiple locations **Water Sampler (Part-time)**
**Our Sampling teams perform a vital service day in, day out to ensure our customers receive safe, high quality drinking water 365 days a year.**
We usually respond within **a week**
As a Water Sampler at Affinity Water, you'll be on the front line of water safety, quality and delivery, ensuring that customers receive the very best when they turn on their tap.
***What you'll be doing***
Youll spend most of your time out and about visiting company sites, treatment works, reservoirs and customer properties, collecting water samples across our operational area in Herts/Bucks and delivering these to the laboratory in Staines.
Youll perform routine, non-routine and random sampling across our southern supply area, mainly working independently to complete your daily schedule. Theres plenty of driving involved and so youll be a confident driver with a full UK driving licence.
Travelling between sites couldnt be easier as youll be given a company van to get yourself around.
**Working hours: Mon-Fri, 09:00 - 14:30 (27.5 hours p/week)**
***What you'll need***
Completing a sampling schedule is often time-pressured and so youll be excellent at managing your time. Youll be a self-starter whos comfortable working alone, to tight deadlines, and in a fast-paced environment.
Don't worry if you've not worked in the water industry before - we'll invest the time to ensure you're fully up to speed with specific industry knowledge and best practise. What matters to us is finding someone who shares our values of health, safety, environment and quality and understands the importance of strict procedures and compliance in water sampling.
As the service youll provide is essential to the customer, youll be comfortable participating in a weekend and out-of-hours standby rota to ensure someone is always on hand when there's an operational issue. Its all part of your outstanding service.
