System Administrator

Job Details

**This is a hybrid position based in Jupiter FL, 3 days onsite.

The ideal System Administrator must have experience with:

• VMWare,
• Windows Servers
• Active Directory
• Shared Storage

You will perform a variety of technical tasks in the area of computer systems and networks:

The "Preferred skills & Experience" include:

• Management of shared storage systems (iSCSI/Fiber Channel)
• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure specifically VMWare Horizon
• Experience in Finance Industry desired, not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations
• Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications/equipment
• Responsible for the analysis of hardware and software in a distributed networking environment utilizing network management and monitoring software and systems
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support as necessary to support all user desktop environments including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure VMs

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years managing a vSphere vCenter environment
• 5+ years set up and troubleshooting of Windows Server systems & associated applications
• 3+ years' experience managing Business Continuity\Disaster Recovery\Backup solutions
• Experience with datacenter hardware and cabling
• Advanced TCP/IP knowledge - routing/subnetting/DNS/DHCP & troubleshooting network issues
• Windows Desktop Support and applications deployment\troubleshooting
• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Science, or another related field

Candidates should have solid tenure; a full-time employee background is highly preferred.
