As the Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of warehouse staff, overseeing their day-to-day activities, and ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and promptly. Your duties include optimizing workflow processes, managing inventory levels, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and liaising with other departments such as logistics, transportation, and procurement. You will play a crucial role in maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and productivity within the warehouse while also addressing any issues or challenges that may arise. In this role, you are also responsible for coordinating the maintenance and repair of all equipment and are the primary point of contact for vendors and outside suppliers.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assign daily tasks to warehouse employees
  • Hold team accountable for assigned tasks and responsibilities
  • Ensures cycle counts are completed every week
  • Oversee warehouse inventory control process
  • Oversees the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies
  • Ensures tracking and updates of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Ensure the warehouse is a clean and safe working environment
  • Continuously optimize space utilization
  • Validates and assigns locations for receivables
  • Supervise material and equipment returns to vendors
  • Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves and update inventory in the computer system
  • Collaborate and communicate with technicians, project managers, and others involved in the ordering of materials and equipment
  • Assist with ordering materials for field operations
  • Train new associates or existing associates on new processes and heavy equipment
  • Assist Fleet Department with vehicle coordination

Required Skills and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 -2 years of warehouse experience preferred. Needs 1-2 years of Lead experience too.
  • OSHA Certificate preferred
  • Current forklift license preferred
  • Service Titan experience
  • Pay range $25 - $27+ per hour, DOE.

Working Conditions

Environment:

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
  • Will work both indoors and outdoors in various climate conditions ranging from very cold to very hot and humid.
  • Evening and/or early morning, and/or weekend hours periodically

  • Carrying supplies, up to 75 lbs.
