Duties of the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager include:

Utilize your knowledge of EHS standards and regulations to develop systems that reflect management s commitment to maintaining world-class safety and environmental standards

Ensure company policies and procedures comply with all local, state, and federal laws while implementing new systems as regulations evolve.

Develop and implement training programs to reduce safety-related incidents
Ensure audits are completed in adherence with regulation and safety and environmental certifications are maintained

Conduct investigations into work-related injuries and prepare appropriate reports
Evaluate and monitor environmental concerns such as hazardous waste, air permitting, and wastewater removal

Requirements of the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager include:


BS in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering or similar technical field preferred
Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing setting
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other safety and environmental regulations

Experience with behavioral-based safety, accident investigations, operator training, and worker's compensation
