**Summary **Overall responsibility for development, implementation and measurement of Corporate Health, Safety, Environmental and Security programs across the USA Operations. Develop, lead, and manage, a robust and comprehensive occupational health and safety program ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. This individual will provide strategic direction and innovative leadership across all plants, implementing Blount Fine Foods strategic plan, as well as, engaging all company employees to ensure a high-performance safety culture. The Manager of Corporate HSE will have responsibility for overall compliance to local, State, and Federal regulatory obligations with respect to the employees security, health, safety and well-being. The Manager of HSE shall assess the companys performance to key objectives and provide recommendations to achieve intended outcomes. They shall ensure we meet all existing and new regulatory requirements in relation to environmental responsibilities.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement a Corporate occupational health and safety program that aligns to Blount Fine Foods priorities and Corporate goals for the USA Operations.

* Promote Safety first culture at all levels of the business.

* Provide leadership and guidance to grow and promote a Safe working culture throughout the business

* Audit and Monitor all facility safety programs, update and enhance existing programs, develop controls for all areas of risk.

* Inform Executive management via Quarterly KPI dashboard review meeting and give guidance as to requirements, trends and issues

* Oversee that all local facility managers, contractors and vendors are in compliance with OSHA, environmental and facility programs.

* Ensure Safety reports, logs and other documentation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local agencies.

* Ensure safe Operating practices are in place across the business

* Develop and enhance an effective performance measurement process, relative to injury and incident performance and other key KPIs

* Develops, directs and offers leadership to members of Safety committee. Is at the forefront of driving Safety within the facility. Chairs senior management HSE meetings

* Ensures accident investigations are completed, documented and review to determine trends, action plans.

* Review and develop Internal safety audit programs at each tier of management. E.g. Daily, Quarterly, Annual

* Leads and Conducts internal safety audits. Communicates, offers recommendations, and acts on findings.

* Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all OSHA, Environmental and regulatory requirements.

* Organizes, facilitates and trains all relevant and required facility Safety programs including

* Ensures all JSAs are current and develops new as needed.

* Stay informed and active with insurance quarterly meetings.

* Be an active participant in capital project teams to ensure best practice in designing for safety.

**Education and/or Experience**

* Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university or equivalent with focus in Environmental Management & Sustainability, Occupational Safety & Health Management.

* Preferred certifications/designations. Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Ammonia systems Management (PSM), Wastewater and environmental discharge permitting and knowledge of relevant State and DEM requirements.

* Ability to put strategy to action and influence across various functions and levels within the organization.

* Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

* 5 plus years providing HSE leadership for a manufacturing environment.

* Industrial, Food & Beverage, pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

* Must have extensive EHS oversight for multiple manufacturing locations.

* Excellent time management skills with an ability to understand key goals and objectives and achievements while leading groups of internal and external resources to meet project goals
