Renhill Group is currently looking for caring, compassionate individuals to work as a Elementary Building Aide on a permanent, full-time basis at several buildings (Oxford, Noble and Gearity) in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District in Cleveland Heights, Ohio for the 2023-2024 school year.

The Floater/Building Aide will help support the teacher in providing a safe and educational learning environment for the children. This position will require the Building Aide to perform various aide duties throughout the building, where ever the need is greatest.

No formal experience? No problem. Renhill Group's online training courses designed by current and former school district administrators will give you the knowledge and confidence you need to ensure your success in the classroom.

This position offers a set schedule, Monday - Friday, during the hours of roughly 7am - 3:30pm.

There are also substitute positions available if you are looking for a more flexible schedule!

Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain HQP (Highly Qualified Paraprofessional) Status through one of the following:
    • Associate's Degree (in any field)
    • 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours of higher education
    • Taken and passed the official Paraprofessional Assessment
  • BCI & FBI background checks
    • Completed within the past 12 months and on file with the Ohio Department of Education
    • Renhill Group offers background checks at one of the area's lowest rates ($55), if you do not already have them. Call to make an appointment.
  • BCI & FBI background checks
    • Completed within the past 12 months and on file with the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services
  • Aide permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education
    • Renhill Group will assist you in obtaining your permit if needed. Permit costs $25 and payment is made directly to the Ohio Department of Education
  • An ODE Medical Statement must be signed by a physician and on file
  • A Statement of Non-Conviction must be completed and on file
