TheResort Dispatcher coordinates potential incidents, operational changes/delays, and emergency response situations via radio, phone, and email communications. This individual is responsible for all mountain communications and supporting all mountain operations.

Considering the many variables present in alpine activities, this individual is essential to the swift exchange of information and operational organization.If you have concise communication, collected composure in tense scenarios, and a desire to be at the pulse of the resort, we want to hear from you!

While every day is different and our roles may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in this role as a Resort Dispatcher:
  • Communicates operational status/changes, delays, weather, road-conditions, and pertinent information with key personnel and resort-wide.
  • Coordinates between operations and patrol in potential incidents and emergency response.
  • Monitors all company radio communications and handles all communications for Mountain Operations Departments
  • Collaborates with marketing team to deliver information timely and accurately
  • Documents and follows up on matters of safety, operational changes, chair lift downtime, grooming operations, and incidents, accidents, and injuries.
  • Understands Resort operating procedures, protocols, and best practices.
  • Prepares dispatch logs and dispatch email communications.
What We're Looking For:
  • Able to effectively relay information in a concise, coherent, and professional manner
  • Able to maintain a calm, collected demeanor in tense situations
  • Strong organization skills and able to multi-task with impeccable results
  • Able to be punctual regardless of road conditions
  • Familiarity with resort operations is preferred
  • Previous work experience in Dispatch and/or Emergency Response preferred
