This position is responsible for providing technical field service support that exceeds our customer expectations.

The person taking the Field Service Representative role will spend most of their time in four key areas. They are:

Traveling between hospitals based on assignment of service requests. Troubleshooting and resolving customer and product issues. Building positive relationships with Stryker customers. Documenting service results in order to maintain accurate quality records.

**Responsibilities**

**Individual Responsibilities:**

* Proactively collaborate with internal teams/departments to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation

**Functional Responsibilities:**

* Provide effective, proficient, and timely service and repairs to all customers in direct support of local Field Service reps and Sales team to ensure optimal customer satisfaction

* Perform all required quality control checks and preventive maintenance in accordance with the products specifications and manufacturer requirements

* Follow all administrative duties, complete all necessary paperwork and track product support solutions, e.g., Repair Orders, Service Request Forms, Product Inquiries, Field Actions and Part Order Requisitions in a very accurate and timely manner

* Present the highest level of customer etiquette in support of the sales team. Promote increased equipment and service usage by establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships

* Maintain an accurate inventory of Stryker equipment, service parts, tools. Conduct regular cycle counts and verify tool calibration

* Ensure all routine maintenance is performed on company vehicle

* Adhere to proper expense reporting procedures

* Complete all designated training programs in timely manner

* Participate in all work assignments as may be deemed suitable and assigned by management

**Conduct & Compliance**

* Abide by and support the policies set forth in the Stryker Code of Conduct

* Understand that compliance with the Code of Conduct, as it may be amended by Stryker Corporation from time to time, is a condition of continued employment with Stryker

* Conduct work in compliance with all laws, rules, and regulations and in accordance with Strykers high ethical standards

* Report any violations of these policies and procedures to Stryker management or in the manner outlined in Strykers Ethics Hotline Policy

**Knowledge & Skill Requirements**

* Willingness and ability to work extended workweek including nights and weekends

* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to read and understand technical drawings, troubleshoot technical issues and perform technical repairs

* Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks

* Knowledge of proper lifting/body mechanic techniques

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Accuracy is essential for data entry skills

* Must have an outstanding driving record

* Extensive travel within assigned territory with up to 50% of overnight travel

* Bilingual (French and English) an asset

**Education & Qualifications**

* Post-Secondary Diploma or equivalent

* Basic electronic and mechanical aptitude

* Basic computer networking knowledge

* Experience in related field

* Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
