Description: Job Summary:Under direct supervision, assures safe, courteous and timely transport of patients, equipment, supplies, specimens and any other items as directed by supervisor; on occasion performs cleaning duties as requested.Essential Responsibilities:Transports patient as directed by nursing staff via most appropriate way (e.g., wheelchair, stretcher); transports patients to include but not limited to admissions, discharges, transfers, ancillary departments and physician offices).
