We are seeking Sharp (QR) Quantitative Research Professionals with Ph.D. backgrounds in quantitative fields that have an affinity for adaptive learning in technology & trading systems. Experience in companies that specialize in investment banking, hedge funds, & financial investing are highly desired. The base salary range is $175K - $300K depending on experience with substantial bonus opportunities.
Duties:
- Investigate financial market trends and market data
- Create trading strategies based off of heavy research & quantitative studies
- Heavy brainstorming & collaborating with peers & teammates
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Philosophy degrees in areas of Mathematics (Finance, Quantitative, Algorithms) & Statistics
- Hands-on scripting & coding with Python technologies
- Extensive problem solving skills in mathematics & technology research
- Hands-on algorithmic trading systems experience
