Summary

Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes. Preference will be given to candidates who have industrial maintenance and plastics extrusion experience.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance in a fast-paced and demanding team setting
  • Perform and support all mechanical and electrical maintenance for RPS for production and auxiliary equipment
  • Support OEM and third-party installation of equipment setup and hookup to full operation
  • Perform all building and ground maintenance for RPS property
  • Assist in the development of preventative maintenance procedures and check lists as required
  • Perform and support all preventative and scheduled maintenance procedures
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to maximize production
  • Diagnose problems, replace, repair, and test parts, and make adjustments as needed
  • Detect faulty operations and defective material
  • Weld and fabricate parts as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Operate or assist in the operation of all production equipment
  • Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and on call as needed
  • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
  • Source and price parts, supplies, and equipment for management approval as needed
  • Maintain part and supply inventory
  • Operate fork trucks, platform trucks, and other power lifts as needed
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and welding and cutting equipment
  • Work independently with little direction
  • Travel intermittently and overnight as needed
  • Maintain organization and order to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Comply will all safety regulations and apply good judgment to all tasks
  • Communicate and collaborate with all co-workers
  • Perform other tasks as directed by management

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the field of maintenance
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and experience in the industrial setting
  • Basic math, reading, and handwriting skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 60 to 100 pounds, bend, and climb
  • Flexible schedule to meet on-call requirements to support a 24/7 production schedule
