Position Overview and Expectations
The Field Battery ProTech1 will efficiently perform quality repairs onindustrial batteries. The Field Battery ProTech1 will project apositive, supportive and professional image to all of the dealership'scustomers, fellow associates, and dealership management while continuouslypracticing safe personal and work area habits.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Water industrial batteries
Perform planned maintenance on industrial batteries
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform minor repairs on industrialbatteries
Complete paperwork such as work orders, time cards, and supportinformation
Operate lift trucks and equipment as required
Project a positive image that reflect Prolift's core values
Maintain acceptable personal and work area standards for safety. Appearanceand equipment condition
Communicate positively and courteously with our customers
Continue training thru company sponsored programs
Promote ProLift's philosophies, vision, strategies, and value of "Doing theRight Thing"
TLM "'Toyota Lean Management" philosophy
Protects organizations values by keeping information confidential andability to handle sensitive information
Working Conditions and Abilities (including but not limited to):
Work around exhaust fumes, gas, diesel, solvents, paints, thinners, etc.
Noisy conditions in shop - air tools, compressors, truck lift, runningengines
Walk up and down stairs, occasionally
Walk for long periods
Lift/push/pull objects up to 75 lbs. frequently
Perform simple motor skills such as standing, walking, bending, stooping,sitting, climbing etc. constantly
Perform simple manipulative skills such as writing, etc., constantly
Stand for extended periods of time
Drive vehicle for extended periods of time
Extend hands/arms in a motion ranging from below the knees to above thehead, occasionally
See objects close and distant as in reading and driving, constantly
The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Education/Job Requirements:
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical /electronic systems, ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Proficient written/verbal communication and customer service skills
Valid Driver's License, good driving record and ability tosafely operate lift trucks
Two years' experience preferred
