Job Details
The Design Automation Engineer will assist in the programming and implementation of engineering technology and customizations. This person will be part of a small team of programmers/designers for Trachte's automated design solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Developing automated design solutions in DriveWorks
- Work with others to collect and organize design requirements
- Design in SolidWorks or with a SolidWorks designer
- Implement initial and ongoing design automation training
- Coordinate SQL data communication
- Proficient in Solidworks including: Part Design, Sheet Metal Design, Assemblies, and Drawings
- Background in basic programming logic (Excel based, Visual Basic or SQL)
- Ability to problem solve complex issues between multiple departments
- Experience in leading engineering projects through development
- Mechanical Aptitude or Fabrication Experience
