Cold Header Experience Required.
Will provide relocation assistance for non local candidates.
The cold heading lead machine setup operator will report to the production supervisor and plant manager. The position s primary responsibility will be the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of cold header machines.
Qualification and responsibilities:
- At least 3 years experience setting up, operating and troubleshooting progressive and multi-blow cold headers, setup experience required, national and Waterbury experience preferred.
- Reading blueprints, using various measuring tools
- Following job and quality procedures
- Inspecting and recording measurements
- Following safety procedures KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- High school education or equivalent. Header operator experience, preferably in the Fastener Industry
- Moderate to heavy physical effort required
- Continuously stand and move through 8-hour shift with occasional overtime
