Medical Assistant Mandatory qualifications
Excellent customer service & interpersonal skills
Good command of English (Bilingual- English + Spanish, Russian, Chinese. Mandarin, Tagalog Is always welcomed)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Multi-Tasking capabilities
Medical terminology knowledge
Must have Medical Assistant Experience
Electronic Health Record Knowledge- Data entry - (EPIC Electronic Health Record Experience is preferred)
Strong daily computer skills
Comfort with interacting & assisting the elderly and disabled.
Front Desk Duties
This position will include the following duties in addition to others as needed.
Answering phones and directing calls/ taking messages
Assist with Scheduling appointments.
Confirming and or rescheduling of appointments
Scheduling Procedures / Surgeries
Responding to patient phone calls & messages
Insurance knowledge / Verification
Electronic Health Record - EPIC - data entry required.
Scanning & faxing
Back Office Duties
This position will include the following duties in addition to others as needed.
Able to obtain vitals & Abi's / medical history / medical record reconciliation.
Sterilization of instruments
Prepping Exam Rooms / Cleaning & Sterilizing after each patient
Stocking, Inventory Control
Assisting in procedures - Vein Ablations, Angiograms, etc
Bandaging / Wrapping.

Pay Scale/Ranges:
$21.00-$41.50/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
