Nonn's Kitchen Bath & Flooring is currently seeking a skilled candidate to succeed in the role of **Appliance D****elivery Lead** at our Dane, WI location. This is a full-time, hourly position that reports to the Warehouse Manager with the primary responsibility to perform duties in a lead role to safely drive straight truck to deliver appliances and products expeditiously and accurately.

**Essential Duties/Responsibilities of the Appliance Delivery Lead:**
* Functions as a lead role on delivery routes providing excellent customer service with the ability to solve problems effectively.
* Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer orders.
* Drives material handling equipment to transport stored items from warehouse area to desired location or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
* Determines condition of vehicle by inspecting vehicle before and after use; logging inspection; reporting requirements.
* Maintains safe vehicle and conditions and protects load by complying with organization policies, procedures, highway rules and regulations.
* Makes deliveries of appliances by driving delivery truck to specific customers and unloading truck.
* Makes safe delivery of product in all weather conditions.
* Provides customer service by listening and resolving customer concerns.
* Collect payment from customers and reconcile the assigned load with receipts and delivery invoice
* Returns empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise by making appropriate collections from customers.
* Handles product properly and reports damage to warehouse manager and/or warehouse foreman.
**Qualifications of the Appliance Delivery Lead:**
* Previous experience delivering high-ticket or large items; appliance delivery experience preferred but not required.
* Proven attendance record and a demonstrated ability to motivate and lead teams.
* Outstanding communication and conflict management skills.
* Ability to lift between 75 and 100 pounds of material unassisted and on a regular basis.
* Basic knowledge and use of hand tools and moving equipment.
* Ability to complete overnight travel to meet delivery requirements.
* Basic math and computer skills.
* Ability to drive material handling equipment (forklift). Will train if necessary.
* Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record that meets the minimum requirements of the company's insurance provider.
