Job Summary
Sentara is searching for a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospice Team in providing exceptional care to our Hospice patients along the Peninsula of Virginia (30-mile radius from Sentara Hampton Careplex).
Position Highlights:
?Part-Time/ 0.6 FTE/ 3 days per week
?8am-5pm
?1:5 Rotating Call - phone only
?Duties include: urgent patient visits, medication management, family education, management of online death certificates.

Requirements for this position include Virginia-licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, and a current, unrestricted DEA license. Candidates must have the ability to provide quality, comprehensive, continuity of medical care in a compassionate manner with minimum supervision.
Qualifications:
MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - North Carolina, Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Other/National, Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Virginia, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Other/National, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - North Carolina, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - Virginia, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - North Carolina, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - Virginia, Registered Nurse License (RN) - Nursing License - Compact/Multi-State License
