CTR Group is seeking a CNC Machinist for an Aerospace Manufacturer in Newport News, VA Immediate openings and urgently hiring!
This is a Second Shift Position.
Pay Range: $30.00 - $35 per Hour.

SUMMARY:
Seeking an experienced CNC Machinist able to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts using mills, lathes, and grinders. Fabricate complex contour parts to precision tolerances. Interpret sketches, drawings to fabricate component parts of models, test equipment or parts associated with aerospace and marine hardware or models.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of Certified Apprenticeship Program or equivalent and 5 years of work-related experience
- 3-5 years of CNC Machining experience
- Ability to set up and operate precision and production machines such as conventional and/or CNC mills, lathes, jig borers and grinders.
- Must be well-versed in Mill/Turn(MX)
- VTL experience
- Must have 5 axis mills experience
- Mastercam experience
- GD&T certification
- Ability to interpret blueprint specifications
- Machining experience involving a wide range of machines, materials, part sizes and shapes and part sizes
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds of equipment
