Maintenance TechnicianParker Plastics North Las Vegas, NVNorth Las Vegas, NV Hourly 3rd Shift 10:55 p.m. - 7:06 a.m. Depended upon qualifications and experience.PET Blow Molding ManufacturerApprentices welcome to apply with mechanical aptitude and desire to learn industry.Qualified candidates must have excellent problem solving skills, strong verbal and written communications skills.Environment:Our facility is currently a 24/7 operation, Monday thru Friday (8 hour shifts).Working in climate controlled environmentSafety food grade environmentClean manufacturing facilityPrimary Responsibilities:Work with others in positive and constructive mannerMonitor operationsSet up machines to approved processing parametersSolve daily production and technical processing issuesTroubleshootAssist in training team membersEnsure that products manufactured meet or exceed all quality requirementsMaintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, enforcing standards, policies and proceduresFollow all safety procedures and policiesWork shift will depend upon need .Must be available for overtime and work weekends when needed.Required Education/ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent2+ years thermoplastic processing experiencePreferred Education/Experience4+ years related experienceCompletion of apprentice or other training programCompetenciesRead and understand written EnglishCommunicate effectively in EnglishOperate equipment as indicated abovePhysical DemandsStanding and walking for extended periods of timeBending downClimbingLifting up to 60 poundsFrequent grasping, lifting and extending hands and armsEmployment OpportunityOur Company is committed to equal opportunity employment.Powered by JazzHR
