Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for operating, and maintaining our press brake machines to produce high-quality precision sheet metal components. Your expertise in reading blueprints, selecting appropriate tooling, and adjusting machine settings will be essential to ensure accurate and efficient bending operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine bending sequences, dimensions, and tolerances.
Select the appropriate tooling, such as punches and dies, based on material type, thickness, and bending requirements.
Adjust machine settings, including speed, depth, and angle, to achieve precise bends and shapes.
Load and position sheet metal blanks onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
Monitor the production process to ensure consistent quality and make necessary adjustments as needed.
Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged tooling.
Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.

Requirements

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Strong knowledge of press brake machine setup, operation, and maintenance.
Ability to select appropriate tooling based on material type, thickness, and bending requirements.
Skilled in adjusting machine settings to achieve precise bends and shapes.
Familiarity with different types of sheet metal materials and their properties.
Attention to detail and ability to perform accurate measurements.
