As a Housekeeper Manager, you will contribute to the overall success of our community by fostering an environment of cooperation and teamwork, leading and mentoring a team of Housekeepers, and visiting with residents to determine the quality of service being provided by your team. The person who fills this role will be accountable for all aspects of the day-to-day housekeeping operations of our community, ensuring all areas of the community are maintained at the highest level of cleanliness and order at all times.



The ideal candidate will:

  • Passionate about Managing and leading the housekeeping team with a fair and supportive management style to create a cohesive and happy team that looks forward to returning to serve our residents every day.
  • Be passionate about the success and development of their team members and continually work to develop programming to support development.
  • Use creativity and innovation to solve problems
  • Have a sound understanding of overall operations as well as budgets
  • Have knowledge and experience with infection control and an Interest in expanding the infection control procedures
  • Have experience with scheduling

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or combined equivalent of education and experience
  • Have at least two years of experience managing a team
  • Have experience working as a housekeeper in a resort or retirement community, though this is helpful but not required
  • Have a can do attitude towards their work and be passionate about maintaining a five-star site appearance
  • Be proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Must have flexible availability to include weekend coverage
