JOB SUMMARY
The Camp Monitor will supervise and interact with campers in daily camp activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Supervises and interact with campers in daily camp activities.
* Works with other staff.
* Abides by all camp policies and procedures.
* Helps lead campers in games and group activities.
* Greets parents and campers on a daily basis.
* Ensures safety of participants at all times.
* Sets up and take down tables, chairs and camp materials.
* Helps maintain a clean and safe play area.
* Enforces rules, regulations and policies of the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department.
* Resolves issues and solves problems as quickly as possible; report results or refer unsolved problems to higher supervisor.
* Files incident and/or injury reports when incidents or injuries occur.
* Reports any problems to supervisor and any person using or having in their possession either drugs or alcohol.
* Performs other related assigned duties.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:
* Must be 16 years of age or older.
