We are seeking a talented and passionate attorney to join our team in the fight to protect civil rights and liberties. As a litigation attorney, you will engage in challenging, rigorous, and meaningful legal work to obtain justice for our clients through delivering high-quality work and services. You will collaborate with our experienced attorneys tohandle cases from inception through appeal. The ideal candidate will have excellent legal writing and research skills, litigation or clerkship experience, strong interpersonal skills, a demonstrated commitment to social justice advocacy, technological proficiency, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.


**Key Responsibilities**Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence, including complaints and jury demands, responses to motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment, representation and demand letters, and mediation statements..

Conducting thorough legal research and providing detailed analysis to support case strategies.

Participating in all aspects of litigation, including initial pleadings, propounding and reviewing discovery, drafting motions, preparing for or taking depositions, and participating in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.

Assisting in the review and investigation of inquiries for legal assistance.

Engaging directly and compassionately with clients and managing cases.


**Qualifications**

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Admission to and good standing with the Colorado bar.

1-3 years of experience in civil rights, litigation, or related fields.

Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Strong communication and advocacy skills.

Technological proficiency.

Demonstrated passion for civil rights and commitment to social justice advocacy and EDI.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
