Description:
Home Helpers Home Care is seeking compassionate and experienced Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to provide live-in care for our clients in Summit, NJ. The ideal candidate will have experience as a live-in caregiver, possess a valid driver's license, and have access to their own vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Meal preparation and medication reminders
- Light housekeeping tasks
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Transportation of clients to appointments, errands, and outings
Qualifications:
1. Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
2. Experience as a live-in caregiver preferred
3. Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
4. Car insurance information required
5. Ability to lift and transfer clients safely
6. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
Schedule:
Flexible scheduling options available including full-time and part-time shifts.
Compensation:
Competitive pay rates based on experience.
