Position ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:
- Leading and controlling purchasing projects to achieve targets.
- Review and analyze cost.
- Collecting data to release to the Buyer for quoting activity.
- Communicating the progress of the project to team members and executives.
- Preparing necessary presentation material for meetings.
- Maintaining purchasing project documents; such as tracking sheet and reports.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Required Skills and AbilitiesEssential Skills and Experience:
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Organizational skills
- Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Negotiation Skills
- Document Management
Beneficial Skills and Experience- 1-5 years of previous Purchasing and/or Project experience
Education/Training/Certifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, other Applied Science, or Purchasing supply chain management is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business or other non-technical area is acceptable based on proven technical skill.
