POSITION SUMMARY: The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for managing Frame Exchange Orders to facilitate a seamless transfer of new and old frame product for our office locations.
REPORTS TO: Director of Purchasing
SUPERVISES: NONE
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:
- Create Frame Exchange Orders (FEOs)
- Create/Update frame matrices
- Create the new FEO inventory within Practice Management software
- Receive FEO inventory product and verify for accuracy/completeness against both the shipping manifestos and the FEOs
- Receive FEO inventory product into Practice Management software
- Create and print inventory tags for FEO product
- Print out associated frame matrices for offices receiving the new product
- Batch out returning inventory product within Practice Management software
- Obtain Return Authorizations from vendors
- Package returning inventory product per individual vendor requirements
- Provide and maintain documentation of all product returns
- Obtain written confirmation from vendor of receipt of returned product
- Maintain/Update Frame Delivery Schedule template
- Ensure adequate inventory stocking levels of lab backstock/consignment for designer frames
- Complete understanding of all inventory auditing functions with Practice Management software
- This inventory professional to complete physical inventory counts (frames & miscellaneous) as required by company policy, as needed, i.e., scheduled year end audits / new office acquisition / random office audits
- Assist Director of Purchasing on other projects as directed
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:- High school graduate, or equivalent
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel preferred
