**Software Sales Representative**

La Jolla, CA **Position Overview**

The Software Sales Consultant is responsible for the full sales cycle including prospecting, lead development, working with the Software Division for closing new business, and managing existing accounts to generate follow-on business and ensure customer satisfaction.

**Essential Job Functions:**

* Analyze various market segments to identify and capture a pipeline of opportunities for new business development.

* Utilizing a consultative sales approach, develop creative solutions for clientele, demonstrating knowledge of industry and exceptional presentation, leadership and teaching and training skills to enable clientele to envision a new way to solve their business issues and concerns.

* Partner with internal subject matter experts to ensure alignment of and achievement of business goals.

* Contribute to the overall strategic goals through thought leadership, collaboration, and personal contributions.

**Requirements:**

* Proactive, engaging, and collaborative individual who will challenge his/her organization and energize, motivate, and develop a high-performing business acquisition strategy for the vertical.

* High level of initiative and energy with demonstrated ability to generate results.

* 2-3 Years of sales experience

* Strong entrepreneurial spirit and instinct for revenue-generating opportunities.

* Solid financial acumen and effective negotiation skills.

* Critical thinking with strong analytical skills, and impeccable business judgment and decision making.

* A background/understanding of Accounting.

* A background/understanding of Construction.

* Strong passion for client engagement, building key strategic relationships with C level executives.

* A history of success in developing new business.

* Experience working effectively with cross-enterprise teams.

**Education:**

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
