Cerium Networks is searching for a talented solution architect looking for a professional growth opportunity.
In this role you will work with Cerium Networks' clients in a consultative manner to discover, design and recommend solutions to meet their business outcomes. This role requires strong client engagement, obtaining and maintaining industry identified certifications and aligning with sales teams to drive solution understanding and adoption into our client base. Additionally, building bill of materials (BOM), statement of works (SOW) for discovered solutions, and transitioning the build/implementation to the engineering teams while maintaining engagement throughout the process. Skillsets desired are as follows;
- Demonstrated competence discovering, designing, and presenting network infrastructure solutions.
- Design and/or engineering experience with Cisco Security solutions including XDR, Identity Services Engine (ISE) and firewalls.
- Design and/or engineering experience with Cloud Networking architectures including but not limited to Azure virtual WAN, VPN Gateways and Express Route.
- Design and/or engineering experience in Cisco Nexus Data Center to design, implement, and optimize scalable network solutions, ensuring high availability and performance across data center environments.
- Design and/or engineering experience with Juniper, Fortinet, Dell, HPE and other major providers strongly considered
- Deliver to client requirements and generate additional consulting work by understanding the client's need and showing them how new technologies can further their business objectives.
The ideal candidate will be capable of addressing all the previously mentioned technologies, speak to them professionally, plan for the implementation of these solutions, document the finalized deployments, and hand-off to the client in collaboration with the Cerium Team.
Requirements
- 2+ years of solution design experience preferred
- 4 year degree preferred
- Cisco and Microsoft Azure Manufacture Pre-Sales Certification preferred
- Analytical skills and proven ability to work with a client to understand requirements and define appropriate solution.
- Comfortable communicating and leading custom customer discussions and meetings at a business and technical level.
- Interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to map business needs to technology solutions.
- Required strong verbal and written communication skills along with a willingness to mentor others in both technical and soft-skill areas.
- Customer service skills and experience
- Strong organization abilities
- This position must be located in any of Cerium's locations within the Pacific Northwest (WA, OR, ID, MT).
Compensation- Base Pay Range: $110,000 to $140,000 (depending on a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.)
- Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
