This position will aid with hospitality services for all GPAC performances and special events held in the Woltosz Theatre, Ham Amphitheatre at the City of Auburn Lawn and Porch, and other Gogue Center auxiliary spaces. Events include but are not limited to: concerts, plays, musicals, festivals, luncheons, and university programs, as assigned by the Performing Arts Series Coordinator and Business Manager, at the Gogue Performing Arts Center at Auburn University.

This position will also act as welcoming ambassadors of the Gogue Center to visiting artists exemplifying superior hospitality and customer service.

Essential Functions
  • Assist in providing hospitality services for artists/tours while adhering to day-of-show schedules and budgets. Hospitality services include on-site catering, off-site shopping, ground transportation, wardrobe room maintenance, and other logistical needs as agreed to in GPAC-presented performance/event contracts and riders.
  • Assists with set up and breaks down of dressing rooms, green room, and other artist/tour spaces for all GPAC presented performances/events.
  • Collaborates with GPAC Hospitality and Operations Departments to ensure orderly cleanliness and maintenance of all artist/tour spaces.
  • Assists as needed for additional GPAC events and occasions including staff events, donor events, and annual GPAC events.
  • Tracks and maintains artist hospitality supply inventory.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled student at Auburn University

Expectations:
  • Prior customer service experience is required.
  • Ability to work independently and with different groups.
  • Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, walk, and carry equipment.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of event and hospitality operations protocols and etiquette
  • Basic math knowledge
  • Basic computer operating systems knowledge.
  • Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
