Job Details
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities;
- Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specifications;
- Maintain construction schedule, identify and solve problems;
- Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the process;
- Understand the project plans and specifications;
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees;
- Prepare, schedule and supervise completion of a final punch list;
- Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately;
- Ensure all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy;
- Maintain an organized job site, including the construction office;
- Review qualifications of subcontractors;
- Collaborate with Quality Control and Site Safety counterparts to ensure coordination between areas of responsibility;
- In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the position.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of construction experience with at least 5 of those years as a superintendent on similar projects
- Valid OSHA 30, EM385
- Must be able to pass a Federal background check and all pre-employment requirements
