Our studio provides focused expertise in architecture, interior design, programming, planning, and research to create inspirational environments that foster learning and intellectual enrichment.Responsible for performing all phases of architectural work from conceptual design through construction administration.Essential functions and responsibilitiesAssist project teams in development of the aesthetic and technical design and preparation of architectural design and construction documentsUtilize computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans specifically CAD, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and RevitConduct code researchEnsure quality control reviews throughout project completionCollaborate with designers, consultants, and staff to meet clients goalsIndependently apply advanced architectural concepts and designsResponsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions that best meets the client s needsProvide technical guidance to less experienced architects/architectural staffParticipate in the conceptual design and provides full support through the entire projectCan be relied upon to present directly to the client on technical and design solutionsCoordinate with Project Manager to directly supervise the teams' design and technical deliveryNonessential functions and responsibilitiesPerform other related duties as assignedRequired SkillsBachelors of Science In Architecture or Bachelors of Architecture5+ years of post-graduate experienceExperience in higher education/campus planningExperience with design, graphic and presentation skillsStrong design portfolioExperience with BIM modeling or rendering and modeling softwareProficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPointPreferred ExperienceMasters of ArchitectureProfessional Architect LicenseLEED AP accreditation preferred.Experience in education, transportation and community architectureWorking ConditionsWork is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking.
