Applications are being accepted for a full-time Media Website Content Manager for the Town of Saugus. This individual is a dynamic, technology savvy administrative professional position supporting the Town s media communication and website.Ensures thoughtful and timely internal and external communication and execute communications plans tailored for specific projects, initiatives, or news. Communication methods may include social media, press releases, newsletter, website content, brochure, and flyer design, signage, and robo calls. Responsible for growing the community engagement with digital services and developing benchmarks for measuring the impact and effectiveness of digital media programs.Generates innovative and creative media content across social media platforms and town web site to promote community and town information. Assists in maintaining all Town s social media and outreach accounts, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and consistency in messaging and responding to resident s questions and comments when applicable. Monitors both internal and external social media accounts and provides accurate information as required.Serves as webmaster for the Town s website to include day-to-day management, content maintenance, evaluations & audits, collaborating with department/content owners in a way that ensures timely & accurate information dissemination.Bachelor s degree in business, communications or public administration preferred; three years of office and social media experience; preferably in a municipal setting. Demonstrated experience in technology and social media platforms.
