Full Job Description: Preventative Maintenance Apprentice
Salary Grade: Hourly 11

Position Summary: Complete all assigned work orders in a timely manner. Report labor, cost and any pertinent notes/information regarding all assigned work orders and return to your foreperson daily.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience:
Previous experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.:
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's license
Knowledge of current city codes and EPA regulations is a plus.
Must obtain and maintain a current and valid State Mechanical Apprentice card
Must pass both written and practical application examinations within first three (3) years of employment
Must take the state's Mechanical Journeyperson exam to become a state licensed Mechanical Journeyperson after completing (3) years as a Mechanical Apprentice
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to occasionally lift more than 50lbs
Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolds
Must be able to occasionally work on roofs and heights greater than 20 feet
Other:
Able and willing to learn Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Proficient in Spanish is a plus
