Full Stack Developer
Our boutique client focused on helping companies manage Federal & State Medicare and Medicaid, and specializing in program implementation, audit-readiness, and in web-based data management and technical services.
Location: The position is fully remote in Washington, Oregon, or California.
Full Stack Developer Responsibilities
- Assist in software maintenance and operations for Ruby on Rails applications.
- Collaborate with client project managers regarding projects, including during initial planning, implementation, and testing.
- Support the technical team with data import, validation, reporting, client-originating system change requests, and bug triage.
- Adhere to modern security practices in the maintenance of any computer used to perform duties.
- Attending occasional in-person company meetings in Portland, weekly status update calls with project managers, and any other regular or one-off meetings.
- Attend in-person meetings with the development team as needed.
Full Stack Developer Minimum Qualifications
- Ruby on Rails, SQL, JavaScript, Git
- Web design, HTML/CSS
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently, and meet strict deadlines without supervision.
- Team player who can collaborate and work closely with both colleagues and clients.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to break down and convey technical information to project managers and clients.
- Experience working remotely.
