Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager is a remote-based position located within the designated territorial region and has overall responsibility for building and maintaining client relations. This position reports directly to the GM/V.P., Heritage Unit.
Job Responsibilities:
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts.
- Creates sales plans to generate revenue with a commitment to moving pipeline.
- Develops, negotiates, and implements contracts.
- Builds and manages sales pipeline.
- Presents a quarterly and annual booking plan and upside that meet or exceed quarterly and annual individual and business revenue targets.
- Creates plans to address clients business needs.
- Ensures both the company and clients adhere to contract terms.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Collaborates with internal teams and Regional Service Management to address customer needs.
- Conducts application and test materials review to ensure products meets the customer current and future application requirements.
- Ensure Test Materials are available to the factory for all closed system sales.
- Resolves customers complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and providing recommendations.
- Maintains records in SFDC on customer, contacts, changes, and all opportunities.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience required.
- Experience with Salesforce preferred.
- Experience with proposals and quotes strongly preferred.
Travel:
- This position requires roughly 2-3 days of travel/week.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
- Ability to type on a keyboard.
- Ability to hear and talk.
- Ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Requires close vision for computer work and reviewing correspondence.
