HR Assistant


LHH is currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant for a solutions-oriented technology firm in Washington, DC. As the HR Assistant you will keep up to date with employment laws and regulations, perform benefits administration, conduct onboarding and new hire orientation, generate reports, update data in HRIS system, coordinate events and training activities, prepare newsletter, and assist with additional projects as needed. To be considered, you must have a bachelor s degree and at least one year of human resources experience. This client needs a candidate with a sense of urgency and excellent interpersonal skills, who will serve as the go-to for HR inquiries. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree
  • PHR certification a plus
  • 1+ years of HR experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is preferred


Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous HRIS experience; Paycom preferred
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication
  • Customer service oriented


Employment Type:

  • Contract to Hire


Compensation:

  • $45,000-50,000
