Position Overview:
Global is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Roofing Inspector. This position requires extensive travel, with a minimum of 50 to 75% travel time, to various project sites nationwide. If you have 3+ years of experience as a commercial roofing and a proven track record of success in commercial roofing, understanding warranties, inspections, and communication with our customers, are willing to travel, and topped with strong leadership skills, we invite you to apply and become an integral part of our organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and arrange travel to project sites across the country, ensuring timely arrival and readiness for project commencement.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed roofing projects to ensure compliance with warranty specifications and industry standards.
- Document inspection findings and perfume warranty work as needed.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on all job sites.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with project teams, clients, and company management to provide project updates and address any concerns.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily reports, safety records, and progress updates.
- Experience with start to finish phases of commercial roofing installation and various commercial roofing systems.
- Ability to look at blueprints, project specifications, safety documentation and guidelines, and digital forms of communication for application during the roofing system installation process.
- Must be an effective leader (communicate, create a great team, inspire, motivate, focus on customers, innovate/work differently, have a goal/vision, have a written plan)
- Proficient with using technology such as smartphones, tablets, and online platforms like email, cloud storage systems, and online reporting/documentation tools.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: Proven experience as a Commercial Roofing Expert with a successful track record of working on roofing projects.
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with a strong background in project management.
- Proven experience in warranty inspection and roofing inspection techniques.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of commercial roofing systems, construction techniques, and industry best practices.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities to motivate and guide project teams effectively.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively, with a minimum of 75% travel across the country.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges and provide innovative solutions in a dynamic work environment.
- Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees, management, clients, and vendors.
- Safety Conscious: Prioritize safety protocols and always adhere to safety guidelines while on project sites.
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety certifications preferred.
- Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours as required
