Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the smooth running of our production facility. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Hours: Monday thru Thursday; 2PM-2AM-- operators run production 3PM-1:30AM
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining acceptable quality levels for all assigned products including failure investigation and root cause as necessary including resolution of workmanship issues
- Allocates personnel to ensure equitable distribution of work and maximizes the effective use of available personnel to ensure cost effective manufacturing including line efficiency reporting and overtime control
- Utilizes Lean and Six Sigma techniques to ensure the most cost-effective manufacturing process is being utilized and materials are always available
- Establish and implement training programs
- Assists supervisors in completing performance appraisals, prepares rate increase and/or promotional recommendations including time management reporting and approval
Qualifications:
- 5-6+ years of leadership experience with 3+ years of production supervisory experience required.
- Associates degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field desired.
- Lean and Six Sigma background is strongly desired; certifications are a plus as well.
- Experience with plant realignment and/or production line start-up.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Solid understanding of production planning and quality control systems.
