Curriculum Training and Support Specialist - Florida
Gallopade International is seeking a Curriculum Training and Support Specialist for the Florida Market. This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality training workshops, presentations, and support to new and returning customers in the K-8 education market. The individual will become a Gallopade Curriculum subject matter expert and provide post-sales onboarding, training, and support for both print and digital curriculum solutions. The territory for this position is the State of Florida; however, occasional out-of-state travel or coverage may be required to help serve Gallopade customers.
PRIMARY CONTRIBUTIONS:
- Conduct in-person and Zoom training sessions for new and returning customers and assist in the on-boarding process.
- Provide ongoing support for Florida teachers and administrators via email, phone, and online chat app.
- Identify customer-specific training needs for ongoing customers to enhance user experience and increase overall usage of curriculum solutions.
- Modify and/or develop PowerPoint presentations and other documents used in training sessions (with assistance from the marketing and product development teams).
- Work with others on the Customer Success team to identify at-risk accounts that have not optimized digital usage potential.
- Coordinate with Marketing and other Training and Support Specialists to create quarterly e-newsletter content that engages customers on key topics such as product features, usage tips, and getting the most out of their purchases.
- Travel as needed (including overnight stays) to perform on-site presentations.
- Proficiently use and adapt to multiple software applications, platforms, and devices and are willing and able to improve their knowledge of digital curriculum programs through self-exploration.
- Assist in providing training and product expertise to sales reps and the marketing team.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
- Classroom teaching experience and/or previous educational training experience with Gallopade Curriculum materials and programs helpful
- Tech savvy user
- PowerPoint experience
- Zoom and/or other presentation software experience.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and willingness to present training to large groups of teachers and administrators as needed.
- Must have an acceptable driving record- Requires travel, with overnight stays.
- A detailed and organized individual capable of planning and tracking training schedules, handling multiple customer interactions, and continuing to learn new skills and increase proficiency in Gallopade Curriculum solutions.
- Residence in Florida
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years experience in teaching or educational training preferred.
