Covenant Metabolic Specialists, LLC. is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to assist with scheduling offsite subject visits for progress monitoring.


Covenant Metabolic Specialists (CMS) was founded in October of 2019 by a small group of medical professionals. This unique group of medical professionals offers an academic clinical setting for patients with various liver diseases along the west coast of Florida, with a primary focus towards fatty liver disease. Since the inception, CMS has emerged as a global leader in clinical management and education of fatty liver disease. With over 200 years of combined clinical experience and utilizing clinical treatments, which are not available outside of CMS, we are able offer healthcare to hundreds of patients. Job Duties:

Scheduling Biopsies.

Scheduling offsite procedures including:

Eye exams, CT, MRI, MRE, LMS cT1, Ultrasound and DEXA scans.

Email correspondence with offsite locations.

Subject and CRC notification of appointment confirmation.

Confirm imaging order has been completed through offsite portals.

Pay subjects for visit completion via Stipend Card.

Update scheduling excel spreadsheet

Correspond with imaging facility.

Logging employee training certificates and accesses.

Other tasks as assigned


Experience and Skills:

  • Prior Scheduling Experience: Demonstrated experience in scheduling offsite appointments, procedures, and visits, preferably in a healthcare or clinical research setting.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in scheduling appointments, confirming orders, and updating records.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks, manage a busy schedule, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation to interact professionally with subjects, clinical staff, and offsite locations via email and phone correspondence.


Communication Skills:

  • Written Communication: Clear and effective written communication skills to correspond with offsite locations, subjects, and clinical research coordinators via email and other channels.


Technical Proficiency:

  • Microsoft Excel: Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel or similar software for maintaining scheduling spreadsheets, tracking appointments, and updating records accurately.
  • Email Management: Ability to manage email correspondence efficiently, including sending appointment confirmations, coordinating with offsite locations, and responding to inquiries promptly.


Adaptability and Flexibility:

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changes in scheduling priorities, offsite availability, and subject needs while maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and address scheduling conflicts, logistical issues, and other challenges proactively, with a solutions-oriented approach.


Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Associate's Degree or Higher: Preferred, especially in a related field such as Healthcare Administration or Business Administration.


Salary Range: $48,000 - $58,000


Salary will be based on experience and education
