****Summary****
The overall purpose of this position is to provide support to the shipping / production departments through inventory control by using hand held scanners, counting inventory in the coolers, reconciling inventory discrepancies, using SAP / CFS programs, computer. etc
****Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities****
* Monitor product going into cooler and out of cooler ensuring that the proper scans have been made to ensure inventory accuracy
* Complete Daily physical inventory counts and compare to CFS inventory
* Reconcile and inventory discrepancies found
* Learn SAP and CFS programs
* Learn all of the principles and functions of inventory control and snap shot compliance
* Perform other departmental duties as directed by management or lead person
****Minimum Education****
* High School or equivalent
****Experience Requirements****
* Strong reading, writing, math, computer and analytical skills.
* Computer skills must include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
****Experience Preferred****
* Previous manufacturing experience and /or experience with SAP and CFS are highly preferred.
****Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements****
* Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
* May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
* May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
* Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
* When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
* May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
* May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
* May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
