Inventory Control Coordinator Job Details Job Location UMTB Biomedical, Inc - Miami, FL Description The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the Tissue Bank. Ensures operations are GTP/GMP/AATB/FDA compliant.

**Duties and responsibilities**

- Responsible for the receipt of donors/ tissues for Processing.

- Responsible for scheduling, sending and receiving tissue for Sterilization/Irradiation.

- Monitor freezers and acknowledge alarms in Tutela System.

- Maintaining and filling up cryo-tanks wit h nitrogen for proper tissue storage.

- Coordinate and integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy.

- Responsible for creating daily reports to control Inventory Area and report any discrepancy.

- Reconcile inventory and transfer released product for Distribution.

- Discard Donors/ Tissue in a timely manner.

- Perform ongoing maintenance and cleaning to cryo-tanks and Freezers.

- Ensure proper documentation for all tissue inventory transfers .

- Ensure that the inventory room is always kept organized and labeled properly.

- Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications High School diploma and 1-2 years Inventory Control, Material Management, or warehouse experience preferred .

Qualifications include:

* Strong Int erpersonal skills

* Good documentation skills

* Written, Verbal and strong communication skills

* Attention to detail

* Strong organizational skills

**Working conditions**

Majority of the work is performed indoors, standing, and walking throughout the facility. Occasional warehouse work if needed. Weekend work will be alternated with employees from department.

**Physical requirements**

The ability to be able to lift boxes up to, but not limited to, 50 lbs.

The ability to be able to use hand trucks and pallet jacks both manual and automatic.
